Wey Advisory

Privacy

Privacy note.

This is a plain-English summary of how Wey Advisory handles personal information. The legal position is that we act as a “data controller” under UK GDPR for the information we collect through this website and from our clients.

What we collect

From the website: a minimal set of anonymised, aggregated analytics (Plausible) if you consent to it. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal identifiers.

If you write to us: your name, email address, optionally your organisation, and the content of your message. That is all.

What we use it for

To reply to you. To understand — in aggregate, not individually — which pages of the site are useful. To provide our services when we are engaged by a client.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing. We do not publish a newsletter and we do not add you to one.

How long we keep it

Contact-form enquiries are retained for 24 months, then deleted, unless they lead to an engagement — in which case the ordinary client-record retention applies. Anonymous analytics are aggregated and retained indefinitely.

Cookies

The site sets no cookies by default. If you accept analytics, Plausible runs; it uses no cookies and no personal identifiers. A small consent record is stored in your browser's local storage so we do not ask you again.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have rights of access, correction, deletion and complaint. Write to hello@weyadvisory.co.uk and we will respond within one working week. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Controller

The data controller is Ricardo Gonzales trading as Wey Advisory, Guildford, Surrey. Contact: hello@weyadvisory.co.uk.

Last reviewed: this note is a plain-English summary for readers. The client will have it reviewed by a solicitor before launch; any small discrepancy between this page and that review will be resolved in favour of the reviewed version.
